A 911 hang up call resulted in Cheyenne police pursuing a Cheyenne man down West Lincolnway early Thursday morning.

Cheyenne police spokesperson Dan Long says police responded to 1710 1/2 O’Neil Ave after a 911 hang up call at 3:30 a.m. When officers arrived on scene they saw Kevin Miller, 27, fleeing in a blue Subaru.

Officers pursued Miller down West Lincolnway at speeds up to 80 mph according to scanner talk during the chase. Miller ended up crashing at West Lincolnway and Southwest Drive. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

Long reports that further investigation revealed that Miller is a suspect in a felony domestic assault. The case is still being investigated by the CPD.
