Beginning Saturday, March, 25, ‘Project Prom’ will offer free formal dresses to local students. This year, the dresses will be made available at a new central location, 2017 Bluegrass Circle (across from Health Reach off Del Range Boulevard) Cheyenne, WY 82009.
Project Prom provides formal dresses (at no charge) for local students who might otherwise not be able to purchase a dress. Students must show a valid high school I.D and may only bring one guest.
Donations of gently used/clean gowns are also being accepted. Dress donations can be dropped off at ‘Just Dandy’ clothing store at 212 W. 17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001 or ‘Project Prom’s’ new 2017 Bluegrass Circle location. Financial donations are also being accepted.
“We are excited to once again make prom dreams come true for local girls,” said Jean Richardson, ‘Project Prom’ organizer.
‘Project Prom’ is in its tenth year and has provided almost two-thousand formal dresses to local students. The non-profit is also accepting new volunteers – please contact Jean Richardson if you would like to take part in this worthwhile project.
