Authorities have ruled that the death in June of a 6-month-old child in Cheyenne was a homicide.
Cheyenne police say they have taken a 30-year-old local man into custody.
Police say they began investigating June 30 when they were called to a residence about a child who had died.
The man in custody was watching his girlfriend’s two children at the time.
Police say they are still investigating the death.
