Cheney Sworn In as US Representative in 115th Congress

With her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, on hand to witness it, Liz Cheney was sworn in as Wyoming’s U.S. Representative yesterday as the 115th Congress got into session. As a freshman representative, Cheney was asked to serve on the House Rules Committee. Additional committee assignments will be announced this week. Cheney said she would like to serve on the House Natural Resources Committee and that she is looking forward to working with Wyoming Senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso.
