Cheyenne Fire Rescue firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 1600 block of Stillwater Avenue at 4:08 p.m. Saturday.
When firefighters arrived on scene they noticed smoke and flames coming from the soffit on the west side of the commercial building. Firefighters worked the fire from inside and outside the structure. The fire was under control at 5:40 p.m. Crews cleared the scene at 6:06 p.m. Firefighters had to deal with lightning and heavy rain at times.
All occupants were able to exit the building safely and there were no reports of injuries. Damage amount is unknown at this time and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
