Just after 10:00 Monday night, Cheyenne Police Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired near the 600 block of Sun Valley Drive.
Responding officers quickly arrived and canvassed the neighborhood but were unable to locate the source of the gunfire. No injuries were reported.
Tuesday afternoon, officers were dispatched to a report of a hit-and-run in the same area. A dark-colored Toyota Prius sustained damage on the rear driver’s side – the roof also appeared to be hit by a bullet.
Officers believe the two cases are related. The suspect vehicle was reportedly driving south at the time of the incident – it may be light-colored with damage on the front passenger side.
