Several City facilities and offices will have modified schedules for Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11th.
City Offices
City offices will be closed Tuesday.
Sanitation/Trash, Recycling, and Yard Waste Schedule
Residential trash, recycling, and yard waste pickups will slide forward one day beginning on Tuesday (Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). Monday pickups will remain as scheduled.
The Solid Waste Transfer Station, Happy Jack Landfill, Compost Facility, and Household Hazardous Waste will be closed Tuesday and reopen Wednesday.
The Sanitation Division office will be closed in line with other City offices.
Residents should remember to keep recycling unbagged; break down boxes cut to 2’ by 2’; bag all trash to prevent it blowing out of containers and the landfill; and to not place branches, bags, or tumbleweeds in yard waste containers.
Cheyenne Transit Program
Cheyenne Transit Program offices will be closed Tuesday and buses will not run.
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Grand Conservatory and the Paul Smith Children’s Village will be closed Tuesday.
Cheyenne Aquatic Center
The Cheyenne Aquatic Center will be open. Patrons should check the Aquatic Center website (www.cheyenneaquatics.com) for more information.
BEAST Facility
The BEAST Facility will be closed. Patrons should check the Cheyenne Rec facility page (https://cheyennerec.org/facility-rentals-city-rentals/) for more information.
Cheyenne Ice & Events Center
The Cheyenne Ice and Events Center will be open. Patrons should check the Ice and Events Center website (www.cheyenneiceandevents.com) for public skating and other scheduled events.
City Golf Courses
The Airport Golf Course and Kingham Prairie View Golf Course will be open. Patrons should check the course website (https://airportgolfclub.com/) for more information.
