The City of Cheyenne is giving away single-grind wood chips to residents in celebration of Earth Day which is on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
Residents can get their free pickup load of mulch starting on Tuesday, April 24 through Saturday, April 28 at the City’s Compost Facility, 3714 Windmill Road. The compost facility is closed Sunday and Monday.
Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970 and is now celebrated in more than 193 countries. Earth Day is centered around activities that focus on the environmental issues the world faces.
