#1 Cheyenne East 81 Scottsbluff, Nebraska 67
East and Scottsbluff were tied at 35 at the half, but the Thunderbirds pulled away in the second half for the win. Erik Oliver paced the T-birds with 23 points. Nick Mirich poured in 21 points, all in the second half, including five, three-pointers. Tanner Muchmore came off the bench with 14 points, and Xavier McCord added ten. East’s Gabe Patton, who transferred from Scottsbluff, had ten points against his old team. The T-birds improve to 8-4 on the year.

Girls Basketball

The Lady Thunderbirds rolled, having no problems with the Lady Bearcats. Madison Blaney and Makenzee Fagenbush both had ten points, as East improves to 9-3 on the season.
