Statement from Laramie County School District Number 1 about lockdown at East High School:
An automated bomb threat was called in to East High School at approximately 9:15 a.m. Authorities were called and all safety protocol were implemented. Law enforcement assessed the situation and the school was cleared at 10:10 a.m. for standard operations. The Cheyenne Police Department is further investigating the incident.
Central High School and McCormick Junior High were placed on lockdown Monday after a similar call was received by Central High School.
