Around 12:15 Friday morning, Cheyenne Police were dispatched to a crash involving a motorcycle near the intersection of North College Drive and Campstool Road.
The rider, a 25-year-old male from Cheyenne, sustained life-threatening injuries at the scene and was later pronounced deceased at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. The Laramie County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and notify the next of kin.
Preliminary details show the crash occurred while a Dodge truck and the motorcycle were traveling south on College Drive. The motorcycle reportedly rear-ended the truck and lost control.
The Cheyenne Police Department’s Major Crash Unit responded to take over the investigation and is working to determine what factors may have caused the collision.
