Wyoming smokers can now take advantage of free prescription medicine to help quit smoking. The Wyoming Department of Health says residents who enroll in the Wyoming Quit Tobacco Program could receive a free three-month prescription to Chantix. Vitalit Croychick, tobacco prevention specialist with the department says Chantix has helped many people successfully quit smoking.
Croychick says the Wyoming Quit Tobacco Program offers great tools and support for the smoker who is trying to quit.
The free Chantix prescriptions are available through June 30 and are expected to continue beyond then as funding allows.
