City of Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr wants to hear from you and continue the conversation.
On Tuesday, Mayor Orr announced a series of City-wide ward meetings titled: Kicking Rocks and Clearing the Path to Progress – Cheyenne Vision 2020. Details for each meeting can be found below.
“You elected me to fix the streets, put more cops on the streets, fight the blight, and increase government transparency – plus so much more. Please join me and city staff in a series of four city-wide tour events titled: Kicking Rocks and Clearing the Path to Progress – Cheyenne Vision 2020,” said Mayor Orr.
Mayor Orr has selected a tour date for each ward beginning with Ward 3 on Monday, September 30. The fourth, and final, date will take place on Wednesday, November 30th at the Public Safety Center (415 W. 18th St.) which will serve as a community-wide conversation for all who attend.
The events are free and open to the public. Food and fellowship kick-off the first 30 minutes followed by a 30-minute update on “What’s Happening in Your Ward” and leaving time for questions and answers. If you are unable to attend your ward-specific meeting, jump in and join another. Food and beverage will be provided at no taxpayer expense.
