Milling and repaving work will affect traffic patterns on a section of Converse Avenue beginning Wednesday. Work will take place on Converse between the Dutcher Baseball Complex and the roundabout at Pershing Boulevard. During construction, Converse will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
In addition, a full closure of Converse at Pershing Boulevard is scheduled for a few hours Wednesday morning, after which the road will reopen with lane closures in place. Traffic will be diverted at Airport Parkway during the closure.
Construction is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting. Drivers should use caution in the work zone.
