Morning Fire Causes Damage To Single-Family Residence

Cheyenne Fire Rescue responded to a fire at a single-family residence in the 3100 block of Bluff Place Thursday morning.

 

Firefighters were called out at 9:48 a.m. and arrived on scene at 9:53 a.m. When firefighters arrived on scene the garage portion of the home was fully engulfed in flames which spread to the living portion of the home. An adjacent house sustained minor damage.

 

One occupant in the home was able to safely exit the house when the fire started. There were no injuries.

 

Firefighters were on scene for several hours. There was extensive damage to the residence and smoke damage throughout the house.

 

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
