The Cheyenne Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Family Dollar, located at 3421 E. Lincolnway, at 1:45 p.m. today. An unknown man entered the store with a pistol and demanded money from a store employee. The suspect is a white male with blonde hair and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. The man left the area east bound on Lincolnway in a dark colored Dodge 4-door passenger car, possibly a Dodge Avenger. If anyone has any information about this crime contact the Cheyenne Police Department at 307-637-6510 or Silent Witness at 307-637-TIPS. No one was injured during the robbery and this case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department. –
