A murder trial has begun for a Laramie County man accused of shooting his wife to death last year.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports Ronald T. Zimmerman’s trial for the July 20 death of Teresa Zimmerman began Wednesday. The Burns man pleaded not guilty in October to second-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Zimmerman killed his wife because she was yelling at their grandchildren. He faces 20 years to life in prison if he is convicted.
