Eleven University of Wyoming track and field athletes will participate in the NCAA West Prelims that begin Thursday in Austin, Texas. The highest-ranked athlete is senior Scott Carter, who qualified eighth in the triple jump. Carter was on the SportsZone Tuesday afternoon.
Carter will jump on Saturday.
