Katelyn Mitchem is the most decorated distance runner in Wyoming Cowgirl track and field history. She currently holds five school records–the 800 meters and mile in the indoor season, and the 1500 (by six seconds), 3000 meter steeplechase (by 15 seconds), and 5000 meters (by 23 seconds), and is number two in the 3000 meters in the indoor season. She will head to her first NCAA Track and Field Championships next week, and compete in the 3000 meter steeplechase. Mitchem was on the SportsZone Thursday evening.
