The Laramie County Clerk’s office will begin mailing absentee ballots for the Laramie County Community College bond election this week to voters who request them.
“Absentee voting starts 40 days before the Nov. 7 bond election and we encourage voters who want a mail ballot to request one as soon as possible. Voting by mail ballot is easy and convenient for those who prefer to vote in the convenience of their home and for voters who will not be here in November,” said Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee.
Registered voters may request a mail ballot by calling the Election office at 633-4242 or by emailing election@laramiecountyclerk.com . When requesting a ballot, voters need to provide their name as listed on the voter registration roll, date of birth, residential address in the county, and the address where the ballot is to be mailed. Lee noted that the early voting site in the Atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex will not be available during this election.
Persons not currently registered to vote may do so at the election office in the Laramie County Governmental Complex at 309 W 20th St., at town clerk offices in Albin, Burns or Pine Bluffs, or at any vote center polling place during the Nov. 7 election. To register and vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, resident of Laramie County, be at least 18 years of age by election day, and if convicted of a felony, have had your voting rights restored. Registrants must present a government-issued photo ID, with a Wyoming driving license being the preferred document. Residents who have questions about registration or absentee voting may contact the election office at 633-4242.

Voters will find the sample ballot for the LCCC bond election on the election page of the County Clerk’s website at www.laramiecountyclerk.com or may pick one up from the County Clerk or town clerk’s office.
The LCCC bond election is open to all registered voters in Laramie County.
