Cheyenne Fire & Rescue will kick off Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 9-15) with a fire safety open house from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, October 8 at the Cheyenne Fire & Rescue Training Facility, 7222 Commerce Circle.
The event is free to the public. There will be demonstrations, kids’ events, photo opportunities and lots more for all ages.
Learn how to use a fire extinguisher, watch firefighters as they demonstrate their many skills, learn the importance of having a working smoke alarm in your residence, why it is important to change your batteries this time of year, find out how easy it is to have a fire safety plan in place, and much more.
