The Cheyenne Children’s Museum (CCM) Board of Directors has announced Haylee Chenchar has been selected as the organization’s Executive Director.
Chenchar comes to the museum with a strong background as a leader in economic and community development from her previous positions with Visit Cheyenne and the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority and will serve as CCM’s first, full-time Executive Director.
According to Chenchar, it’s an honor to be chosen for such an exciting role in the community, adding this is a unique opportunity.
“The Children’s Museum is a project that has been years in the making and would not have been possible without the dedication of the CCM Board and support from our community. I look forward to continuing the work that has already taken place to ensure the success of such an incredible asset for the future of Cheyenne,” said Chenchar.
“We are thrilled with the caliber of skills and experience Haylee Chenchar brings to the Children’s Museum,” said Caroline Veit, CCM Board President. “The board is certain that her energy, positive outlook and passion for children and community will make her the perfect leader and set the Children’s Museum on a path to success.”
Cheyenne Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with an exciting mission to become a one-of-a-kind place in downtown Cheyenne that inspires the love of learning for kids and families through creative, hands-on experiences and play.
