Several City facilities and offices will have modified schedules for the Christmas holiday:
City Offices
City offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 22, and Monday, Dec. 25.
Sanitation/Trash and Recycle Schedule
Residents who would typically have trash and recycle pickup on Monday, Dec. 25, will instead have pickup on Saturday, Dec. 23. Please have containers out by 6 a.m.
Trash and Recycle pick-up will remain as scheduled for Friday, Dec. 22.
Residents are reminded to break down or cut boxes to smaller than 2’ by 2’.
The Solid Waste Transfer Station (220 N. College Drive) and Happy Jack Landfill will be closed Monday, Dec. 25.
The Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Road) and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Drive) will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23, and will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 27.
The Sanitation Division office will be closed Dec. 22 and will reopen Tuesday, Dec. 26.
Cheyenne Transit Program
Cheyenne Transit Program offices will be closed Dec. 22 and Dec. 25 and buses will not run.
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens and the Paul Smith Childrens’ Village will be closed Dec. 22-25 and will reopen Dec. 26.
Cheyenne Aquatic Center
The Cheyenne Aquatic Center will be closed Dec. 24 and 25. Patrons should check with Aquatic Center website (www.cheyenneaquatics.com) for open swim times.
Cheyenne Ice & Events Center
The Cheyenne Ice and Events Center will close at 4 p.m. on Dec. 24 and remain closed through Dec. 25. Patrons should check the Ice and Events Center website (www.cheyenneiceandevents.com) for public skating and other scheduled events.
