CPD 10-2-17
The Cheyenne Police Department is investigating three robberies occurring over a one week span with the same suspect involved in each one.
On September 25, at about 1:00 a.m., CPD officers responded to a robbery at the Loaf N Jug at 5539 Yellowstone Rd. Three suspects were observed on surveillance cameras. One suspect was wearing black and white Nike shoes, red pants and a black hooded sweatshirt over a red shirt and displayed a firearm. Another suspect was wearing blue jeans and a black leather jacket over a black shirt with his face covered by a dark blue bandana. A clothing description is not available for the third suspect.
On September 29, at about 3:00 a.m., CPD officers responded to a robbery at the Loaf N Jug at 1922 E. Lincolnway. A single suspect wearing red pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and a red bandanna robbed the store while displaying a firearm.
On October 2, at about 3:00 a.m., CPD officers responded to a robbery at the Diamond Shamrock at 115 N. Greeley Highway. A single suspect entered the store, went into the bathroom, and emerged wearing a red bandanna. He displayed a firearm and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect appears to be a young Hispanic male, approximately 5’9” and was wearing a black Wyoming Cowboy’s shirt under his jacket.
All three robberies resulted in a small amount of cash being stolen from the businesses and it appears that the person displaying the firearm was the same person in all three cases.
