The Cheyenne Police Department will host a meeting, open to the public, to explain the Junk Vehicle Ordinance on June 28, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center. The Junk Vehicle Ordinance (8.50.080) was revised by Cheyenne City Council and allows for the posting of junk vehicles after 7 days. The new ordinance outlines how the city disposes of a junk vehicle when it’s impounded. CPD Code Enforcement will explain the ordinance at the meeting as well as how it differs from the previous ordinance.
