Emergency Management To Test 15 New Outdoor Warning Sirens

The Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency will be testing the Outdoor Warning Siren
system promptly at 10:00 a.m. Friday July 1, 2016 for Pine Bluffs and at 12:00 p.m. Friday July 1, 2016
for Cheyenne and surrounding towns. The warning system will sound a steady signal for a period of 1 to
3 minutes.
This month’s test will include the 15 new sirens purchased with the 6th Penny Specific Purpose Optional Tax.
After several months of planning and installation all new sirens are operational and ready for use. Laramie
County EMA would like to thank the following agencies for their efforts to complete the project.
