F.E. Warren Air Force Base says they will conduct an exercise that may involve simulated gunfire as well as the use of ground blast simulators during the evening of Oct. 22. As a result, people living on or around the base may see plumes of smoke and hear loud noises to include explosions from the simulated devices.
Military installations conduct various exercises throughout the year in order to ensure mission and personnel readiness.
The event is closed to the public in order for exercise participants to meet scenario objectives.
