An inmate at the Laramie County Detention Center who attempted to hang himself on Sunday December 10, 2017 died on December 14, at United Medical Center after being removed from life support per request of family members. The inmate, Willy Gugler, age 44, was being held on $5000 bond for Conspiracy to Commit Felony Theft. The incident is still under investigation by Laramie County Detectives.
