Cheyenne City Councilman Pete Laybourn has announced his re-election to the city council from Ward 1.
Laybourn explained it’s been a real challenge for the city to continue to develop the downtown area.
Laybourn is the council representative for the Greenway Advisory Committee, saying this is an important project for him.
Laybourn was first elected to the city council in 2005. Following a break from the council, he was elected to a second term in 2016 and re-elected in 2020. Laybourn currently sits on the city’s Public Services Committee and is the council representative for the Mayor’s Council for People with Disabilities.
