An attempt to make a trans-continental flight by a 16 year old came to an end in Cheyenne Thursday afternoon.  Isaiah Cooper was attempting to be the youngest African American to fly cross country, when his plane went down in Cheyenne near McCormick Junior High school.

Cooper crash landed the plan on a street just to the east of McCormick.  There were no injuries reported, and the cause as to why the plane went down is still under investigation.

the Plane was owned by Tomorrow’s Aviation.  Cooper was attempting the cross country flight in preparation for an even bigger goal trying to fly around the world.
