There’s a messy situation brewing between the Mountain West Conference and San Diego State. Last Friday, news came out of letters from SDSU to the MW stating their “intentions” to leave the league. The MW took that as a formal withdrawal from the league, and said they will start that process. SDSU sent a letter back stating it was not an official withdrawal. There are a lot of moving pieces, and Mark Zeigler, with the San Diego Union Tribune, was on the SportsZone Wednesday afternoon to break it all down.
