A rally to against the environmental protection agency and in support of Wyoming coal will be held on the steps of the capitol today. Local tea party organizer M. Lee Hasenauer is organizing the rally. He says the EPA war and attack on coal is a perfect example of government overreach with new emissions standards on the burning of coal that can’t be reached, and the coal industry is too important to Wyoming.
Hasenauer says the coal industry means too much to the state in terms of jobs and money to not stand up for it in what he says are unfair regulations from the EPA.
The rally will start in front of the Capitol at 11:30 a.m. and go until 1:30 p.m.
