LCSO 11-16-17

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, deputies with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Trailblazer.

During that stop there was evidence in the vehicle that made the deputies believe that the house connected with the Homicide at 4401 Avenue B-2 had been burglarized sometime after the home was processed for the homicide that had just occurred the day before.

Deputies arrested Matthew Laganiere, 39 years of age. Laganiere was also questioned for several other car burglaries that occurred in the county. Several items from the Hess residence were recovered and will be retained as evidence as this case proceeds through the criminal justice system. Another female, Latasha M. Gladden, 35 years of age, was also arrested in connection to the items taken in the various vehicle burglaries.

Matthew Laganiere is currently being held in the Laramie County Detention on several charges to include Interference with a Peace Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine, Criminal Entry, Taking a controlled substance (Heroine) into the Detention Facility, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, and Burglary.

Latasha Gladden is currently being held in the Laramie County Detention Facility on charges of Possession of Stolen Property. These cases will be referred to the Laramie County District Attorney’s office for formal charges.
Both Gladden and Laganiere are Cheyenne residents.
