Voters Approve Laramie County Fire Authority Bond

The bond election for the Laramie County Fire Authority has passed. 200 voters cast ballots for the measure while 147 voters cast a ballot against the measure. 347 total votes were cast out of 7,123 registered voters, for a turnout of 4.84%.

The election was open to qualified electors residing within the boundaries of the fire district.  The election was held to seek voter approval for the issuance of $5.9 million general obligation bonds for the purchase of fire trucks and firefighting equipment for its fire stations and improvements to existing fire stations.
