The Wyoming GOP headquarters in Cheyenne was vandalized Monday night. The windows were spray painted with the phases “F#$* Trump” and “I can’t breath.” The Cheyenne Police Department was called about the incident.
A statement from Governor Mark Gordon about the vandalism: “Vandalism and destruction of any storefront or business is inexcusable and not reflective of Wyoming values. This type of hooliganism does nothing to advance any message of equal justice.”
A comment from Cheyenne Mayor Marion Orr: “The community has really stepped up and done peaceful protests to honor George Floyd and talk about police enforcement. It’s important for people to assemble and have their voices heard, but we just can’t harm private property.”
