Advocates of medical marijuana in Wyoming are encouraged by the amount of signatures gathered as they seek to put legalization of medical marijuana on the November 2016 ballot. According to the director of the Wyoming chapter of National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, Chris Christian, there are petitions in every county in Wyoming, including many filled petitions here in Cheyenne.
Christian adds that many rallies are taking place throughout the state and even a Cheyenne business are opening their doors to host rallies.
Wyoming NORML must collect 25,673 valid signatures by February 8th in order to get the Peggy A. Kelly bill on the 2016 ballot.
