University of Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl announced on Tuesday that senior linebacker D.J. May will serve a one-game suspension for this Saturday’s Wyoming vs. UC Davis football game for violation of team rules.

For Saturday’s game versus UC Davis, Tim Kamana will start at the strong-side linebacker position in place of May.  Kamana will be backed up by freshman Cassh Maluia.  Redshirt freshman Ben Wisdorf will back up starter Logan Wilson at the weak-side linebacker position. Redshirt freshman wide receiver Austin Conway or junior cornerback Rico Gafford will replace May on kickoff returns.

There will be no further comment from anyone with UW Athletics or the Wyoming Football program regarding May’s one-game suspension.
