Chief Brian Kozak of the Cheyenne Police Department will be giving a seminar on the impact of marijuana in our community on Jan. 28 at the Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Local statistics will be provided along with an overview of the impact on Colorado.
Kozak will share facts he learned after meeting with those profiting from marijuana legalization, doctors in the medical field, marijuana researchers and law enforcement in Colorado.
In addition, Kozak will provide signs and symptoms of influence, which might be a value to parents, employers and legislatures who are considering changes to current laws.
The seminar is free and open to the public.
