Cheyenne Police- The Cheyenne Police Department is continuing to investigate a double homicide that occurred at The Coin Shop, 510 W. Lincolnway, at 9:30 a.m. today. Officers responded to the shop after receiving a report of an armed robbery in progress from one of the store’s customers. After officers arrived on scene they formed a perimeter and then entered the shop where they found George Manley, 76, of Cheyenne and Dwight Brockman, 67, of Cheyenne, dead with apparent gunshot wounds. A witness described the suspect as a Hispanic male between 5 foot 6 inches and 5 foot 8 inches wearing a dark colored shirt. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. The westbound lanes of Lincolnway between Thomes Avenue and O’Neil Avenue have been closed while the investigation continues.
