National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
There will be a deputy collecting unused prescriptions at Laramie County Fire District #1 located at 207 East Allison Road.
Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands which is dangerous and often tragic. Thousands of individuals from across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and turn them in – safely and anonymously. This is a wonderful opportunity to dispose of prescriptions without flushing them into the sewer system.
