Noble Signs With Northern Colorado [AUDIO]

by Keith Kelley–13 Nov ’14

Cheyenne South’s Dani Noble signed her national letter of intent to play basketball at division one Northern Colorado, yesterday.  Noble has been a four year starter in volleyball, will be a four year starter for the Lady Bison on the basketball floor this season, and also excelled at track and field for South.  Her athleticism was a big reason why UNC coach Kamie Ethridge, who is in her first year as head coach of the Lady Bears, first noticed Noble.  Ethridge says right now, she would make and impact defensively, but once she focuses on just basketball, Ethridge says the sky is the limit for Noble.

Noble averaged 14 points and six rebounds a game for the Lady Bison, primarily playing in the post, although she does have the ability to play out on the perimeter.  But Ethridge says that Noble will have to work on her outside shooting, but adds they really like her versatility and she will provide some mismatches.

The Lady Bison begin their basketball season in a few weeks.
