A judge in Cheyenne has revoked a 30-year-old man’s probation and sent him to prison for violating his probation for a fourth time.
Laramie County District Judge Catherine Rogers ruled Thursday that when Jamar L. Jackson lost contact with his probation officer in October, he violated his supervision for the fourth and final time.
She imposed his underlying prison sentence of three to five years for strangling his wife in 2012.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports that Jackson asked the judge for another chance at treatment.
But the judge said he has had several such opportunities through the years.
