The City of Cheyenne is once again considering a skypath to connect the downtown parking garage to the Hynds Building. The City will be holding a public meeting on plans to apply to the Wyoming Business Council for grants to help fund the skypath. The skypath would go from the parking garage, over Carey Avenue, and down the alley between Lincolnway and 17th Street. Mayor Rick Kaysen says the skypath is tied to possible development of the Hynds Building.
The City plans to apply for a $3 million grant from Wyoming Business Council for the project, which would also go along with a $2 million grant for façade improvements to the Hynds Building.
