Wyoming’s first stand alone Chick-Fil-A restaurant opened today in Cheyenne. The 5,000 square foot restaurant will be one of largest for the chain. Wyoming’s first Chick-Fil-A restaurant opened 34 years ago as an original tenant of Cheyenne’s Frontier Mall. Frachise owner Raymond Mefford hopes the new stand alone location will be the first of many in the Cowboy State.
During Chick-Fil-A’s grand opening, the restaurant will collect unused children’s books and donate them to the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne, one of many community outreach programs the restaurant is trying to achieve.
The first 100 customers in line today also received free Chick-Fil-A for a year.
