The Cheyenne Police Department responded to a report of an aggressive driver on May 23 at noon near the intersection of Dell Range and Parkview Avenue that led to a drug arrest.
Justin Dix, 34, of Cheyenne, was arrested on the sale/delivery of methamphetamine, the sale/delivery of marijuana, and possession of stolen property over $1000.
Dix was reportedly driving aggressively, making threats, and pointing a black cylindrical object which appeared to be the barrel of a shotgun, at another driver, who happened to be an off-duty Cheyenne Police Officer.
A short time later officers located Dix at his residence, 4408 Ontario Ave., where they found the cylindrical object, which was found to be an electronic control device. A search warrant conducted by detectives of the Cheyenne Police Department’s Community Action Team led to the discovery of approximately a pound and half of marijuana, 252 grams of methamphetamine, two stolen firearms, and stolen merchandise from Menards.
This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
