Taco Johns International recently presented six Cheyenne area elementary schools with $5,000 dollars each to help upgrade their libraries. Jim Creel, Chief Financial Officer for Taco Johns said the company has donated to local schools for years, but wanted to do something bigger this year.
Creel said by focusing on literacy, he hopes Taco Johns can have an impact on kids’ lives as they move through school.
Taco Johns has been donating to local schools for about 15 years, and Creel said he hopes to issue some challenges in the coming years to other businesses to also donate money to Cheyenne area schools.
