Chick-fil-A Construction to Start in Fall

By Staff – 19 July ’14

Cheyenne will see action soon on construction of a free standing Chick-fil-A restaurant at the corner of Dell Range Boulevard and Windmill Road in front of Menard’s. The store will be the first free-standing, drive thru Chick-fil-A in Wyoming, joining their existing location in Frontier Mall.

The design features dual drive thru lanes, patio seating and an indoor play area for children.  With the popularity of Chick-fil-A, the remaining parcels for sale in the shopping center are likely to draw additional retailers interested in Cheyenne.

According to company representatives, work is anticipated to begin in the 3rd Quarter of 2014, with a grand opening in the 1st Quarter of 2015, noting that “the time  frame for review and approval on our permits is looking more expeditious  than anticipated. This will allow us to open much earlier than we originally  estimated. The fact  that we anticipate opening in early 2015 is great news. We  also have enjoyed working with the City in entitling/permitting this project and  are eager to have our first
freestanding restaurant in Wyoming opening in  Cheyenne!”

Approximately 4-acres remain available for additional development next to Chick-fil-A.
